An exhibition of works of art inspired by music of one of the best contemporary Polish composers - HENRYK MIKOLAJ GORECKI,
known world-wide for his 3rd Symphony - Symphony Of Sorrowful Songs. British composer, Michael Nyman, called Gorecki's composition
Good Night. Opus 63 (1990) - "the most beautiful, dramatic, and dangerous" in contemporary classical music.
An etching "Good Night" executed for this show by Lithuanian artist, Egidijus RUDINSKAS, a professor of Kaunas Art Institute, has been
acquired by FOGG ART MUSEUM of the Harvard University into its permanent collection.
